Double Feature
Magazine Dreams

One Hour Photo

Although these movies don't have direct correlation, the mental aspects meet directly in the middle. A view of 2 very misunderstood, isolated and intricately complex men who see the world very differently because of their struggles with mental health. Magazine dreams was very purposely uncomfortable to watch in the sense that you watch this man who actually does have talent and the physic to be where he wants to be but struggles with normal social interactions and behaviors that hinders his ability to get there. Johnathan Majors, as always, delivers a phenomenal performance capturing this characters every day difficulties "fitting in" with his surroundings. With One Hour Photo you see some of the same tendencies with Sy (Robin Williams) who seems like he would love and appreciate to have a family and spots one of his regulars who just seems to take his for granted. Robin Williams steps outside of what we are use to seeing him play (similar to Marlon Wayans direction in 'HIM') crossing over from funny man to serious acting performance.
Streaming Picks
Wild Vacation Rentals
HGTV/HBO Max

Aside from the fact that Sherry Cola is part of my viewing history/life and is totally killing it right now, she had to pair her next venture with one of my favorite shows/concepts: Viewing other people's homes. I watch House Hunters every single night faithfully and well my business specialty is vacations (duh) so of coarse I'm all for any show that fuses those together with a stellar cast list to make the escapades even grander. I'm excited to see some of the homes/rentals that these two discover on their journey.
His & Hers
Netflix

Besides the fact that I absolutely loved Thompson & Bernthals chemistry and tension in this series it was very nicely designed. Being #1 for multiple days doesn't just happen out of nowhere unless you have an absolute thriller/banger on your hands. This had a double twist and I was able to get the first one (not easily might I say) but the second one was even better and the entire cast as a whole did a great job bringing this one to life.
DTF St. Louis
HBO

Real shit I have no idea what this is about but one of my favorite actors is involved and he hasn't disappointed me yet so here ya go 😂
Rooster
HBO Max

Daddy - Daughter relationships are always a complicated roadmap that gets harder to navigate the older she gets. Lucky for Steve Carell his daughter is an adult woman who has to re-live college during a divorce (2 things that automatically seem impossible) and he has to experience it all with her. I love the comedy Steve always brings to what seems like heavy subjects and I'm interested in seeing how he and his daughter navigate a place that I never got to experience but must do so vicariously through this and other shows.
Imperfect Women
Apple TV

This has to be one of the best cast gatherings of 2026 tv because every single person I saw in this lineup belongs in this web of chaos. This is a true depiction of what female friendship can actually look like outside of the smiles and social media posed bonding. The secrets kept, the images to uphold and the truth being held looks like all the taboo topics this show has cooked up for a look at Imperfection in the gal group.
Upcoming/Current Movie Picks
You,Me and Tuscany
April 2026

Adorable rom-com written all over it with the young Hollywood goat herself Hailey front and center. My niece also wants to see this which may be a little alarming for a 7yr old who knows nothing about this kind of love yet but hey who better to teach her right? Also anything highlighting Italy and the masterpiece of a country that it is I'm on board for.....oh and I know, I know...The Bridgerton guy right?.....
The Bride
March 2026

Someone put this so eloquently online that I couldn't do anything but blatantly agree; This will either be a masterpiece or a WTF did I just watch aka a toss up. The cast and trailer are fantastic and as a horror gal myself like I said before I won't rest until all the creature features get their rightful dues at the award shows and this one could certainly be a grand contender. We shall see..... *Side Quote: That very last frame with her head in the tank with the "Monstrous" quote (if in the film in that exact way) is likely one of my favorite scenes/frames of the year*
The Drama
April 2026

The fact that Zendaya has this and Euphoria season 3 lined up for the same month is exquisite for us who just love her drama, be it tv or movie form. Oddly enough the real her is so graceful and poised but when we see her in roles like this it just shows you what good acting is all about.... from drug addicted teen, to terribly flawed future wife.... Im just here for the Drama.
Michael
April 2026

Not sure I need an entire paragraph for this one but knowing me expressing my sentiments towards this film/artist I'll get there unknowingly. When Michael passed I remember being utterly depressed for like 2 months+ and even still to this day this man's legacy and overall presence is immeasurable. I can't even imagine how much I will be singing along to this film...hell they may even need to do one of those sing-a-long screenings for this one but I am so seated for this. There are a few dreams cameos I would love to see with Chris Tucker being one of them and if they show some real footage along side the film of Mike I know it's going to crush me. This one is going to be huge and I mean HUGE for cinema and the Jackson family.
GOAT
February 2026

Not only am I beyond honored to support Steph Curry's venture into film but if I can get another great sports film on the ranks of a Space Jam i'm in. Into the Spiderverse was one of the best animated films of all time so recruiting that team to bring this animal's story to life was a superb choice and the film itself looks heart-warming and awesome in it's own right.
Super Mario Galaxy
April 2026 *IMAX/4DX Pick*

A studio that truly did justice to the franchise I absolutely loved the first one and it smashed the cinema records in 2023 which it will no doubt do again. I love Super Nintendo World at Universal and if they are planning an expansion or needing to add to an already awesome part of the theme park this would be a great way to do it. I know Universal I've asked so much of you with a Wicked add-on and i'm sure there will be other requests but a Galaxy add-on ride or section looking exactly like the photo above is something I now can't get out of my head.
