After having the chance to watch this show and finally seeing what it's core meaning is, I must say it is quite the mental maze. The realistic anxiety that this mother/wife is dealing with and the way she's choosing to handle the curve ball thrown at her becomes more intriguing every week.

Daddy - Daughter relationships are always a complicated roadmap that gets harder to navigate the older she gets. Lucky for Steve Carell his daughter is an adult woman who has to re-live college during a divorce (2 things that automatically seem impossible) and he has to experience it all with her. I love the comedy Steve always brings to what seems like heavy subjects and I'm interested in seeing how he and his daughter navigate a place that I never got to experience but must do so vicariously through this and other shows.
MAID
Netflix

This one was rough to watch in the heartbreaking and realism department. A woman emotionally and financially abused by the father of her daughter she does whatever she needs to do to make it for the both of them. There are many different layers to this series and although the struggle parts of it take the wheel, the other parts of it make it a little deeper than surface layer. The woman who takes her in as a maid should also be highlighted in the saving grace department even if she didn't start off in the good graces of the viewers.
The RIP
Netflix

So it's safe to say the question of conscience really comes into play with this one but the cast is also worth dying for. I have been waiting for Sasha Calle to return as admittedly she was MY supergirl so i'm happy to see her added to this mix along with the undeniable Teyana. Honestly Netflix does this thing every now and then where they come out with an incredibly well done film or tv series that to me looks like it should have a theatrical release. This may be one of those instances but regardless i'm seated for Matt & Ben sharing the screen again.

The world is in desperate need of more Emilia Clarke and I'm just happy that streaming is here to deliver that fix. Who better to be covert opps in what looks like a very crazy ride than people of no interest?

By Ashley law, anything Ryan Murphy will always be on my list hit or miss, rain or shine. Thankfully Ryan has called in some of his acting experts/alumni and even called upon some new faces which is always a pleasant surprise for what looks to be a surgical injection of drama. Ryan always finds the best ways to bring truth to light and this may be the looking glass we waited for when it comes to those nips and tucks.
