10. Tropic Thunder / Bridesmaides

I've said it before and I'll say it again; Robert Downey Jr is the only white man alive who could have gotten away with this hilarious performance. Tom Cruise was completely out of character for this role and that was another huge winning element for this movie. The entire film is completely ridiculous and right along side with something Ben Stiller would be involved with. Bridesmaids is cringe and uncomfortable from the first 2 mins of the film through-out and there were lines for DAYS from this movie. The movie that put Melissa and Rebel Wilson on the map and made you want to put a few pennies in the jar for poor old Annie Walker.
9. Robinhood Men in Tights
Best explanation I can give you for this one is childhood gold. Surprise, Surprise my brother tortured me into watching this (yes there are at least 4 more of those on this list and Tropic Thunder was one of them). By the time I was done watching this I wanted to watch it again....'We're Men....we're men in tights, tight tights!" The music made it even more charming and unwatchable.

8. Meet the Parents/Fockers

The reign of Ben Stiller will always remain one of my favorite times in movie/comedy history. He has way to many cinema gems to possibly confide him to 1 list so I will need to make a Kings of Comedy list (coming soon but not soon enough, just soon enough to keep you hanging). Meet the Parents series was and still is on my top list.

7. Anchorman / The Other Guys

I know there is an endless sea of Will Ferrell movies that others would select over these (or maybe I hit it on the nose). Step-Brothers, Talladega nights and the list goes on but while I respect those selections they are not the ones I would add to this list. Anchorman however (and the second one) remains one of my favorite Ferrell picks and Ron Burgandy gets it right all the time, 60% of the time. Another film with to many moments to count and all the lines needed to fill your coffee mug. Then we go to The Other Guys, the one I really have no full explanation for. This movie is completely stupid and ridiculous just like every other film on this list and I love it for being exactly that.
6. 40 Yr Old Virgin
I'm pretty positive that outside of American Idol, this movie boosted Kelly Clarkson sales by like a million. One of the most iconic scenes from this film comes from the use of some hot wax and will live on in comedy movie history. Steve Carell really did commit to one of the funniest performances from my generation and brought along plenty of other comedy legends to do it.

5. Don't Be a Menace

The Wayans Family will never EVER disappoint in spoofing any and everything they can get their hands on. Kings of the roast, this movie fuses together all the 'hood' movies that came out in the 90's and made them even more watchable. Scary Movie could also be added to this rank list and is highly recommended but I grew up watching this movie on repeat.
4. Rush Hour / Superbad

No one really knows who's idea it was to put Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in a movie together but it worked. This series was life when I was growing up and it's yet another classic that you could still watch now and have it be just as hilarious as it was then.
I remember seeing this one in theaters and admittedly I may have peed a little during this entire run-time from laughing so hard. McLovin was an icon and if i'm not mistaken that was the year someone (I don't know who) created fake ID's with fun quirks on them solely because of this film. The playbook of life in high-school / college for anyone who pretended to attend and still holds it's weight in gold today.

3. This is the End / Ted

When you talk about top comedy in vulgarity, cameos, scary, funny and WTF did I just watch....This is The End has to be top of mind. Not only is this a movie about the apocalypse with some pretty decent effects towards the end of the film but more over it's a comedy spoofing the real actors in the film. It's a complete mind-f**k when you think about it but it makes it 10x funnier that the actors are just themselves reacting to the end of the world. Sharing the #3 spot is my favorite vulgar talking teddy bear Ted. This was another time I walked out the theater and may have peed a little from how hilarious it was. As a huge family guy fan I didn't even need the cartoon movie, this bear delivered everything i could have ever wanted.

2. Blazing Saddles
Blazing Saddles was one of the very first comedies I ever saw out the womb so in honor of it's hilarious nature /nostalgia I added it pretty high on this list. Gene Wilder is one of my favorite old school actors and happens to star in my favorite film of all time so there is no surprise that he ended up in the list of all time comedy greats.

1. Coming to America

And there you have it, we've reached number 1 and I am confident the 10 year old and 37 year old version of me is completely content with this selection. My brother and I may be able to recite every single line from this movie and this was just Eddie Murphy at his prime. The sequel released many years later even delivers in perfection and I'm positive you'll love both films, besides...you like whatever I like!
